Some people have really shitty Christmases and a long, long, long time ago in a galaxy far, far away, so did I.  In light of this tinsel-less fact, here’s a metaficion of mine in which I stick three heads up my own fictional arse. Contains a seasonal sprinkling of sprouts.

Shauna Gilligan is giving a talk and taking questions on writing on 19th October 2016 at 6.30 p.m. in Room 3 of Ballyfermot Library.

Shauna Gilligan is the Community Writer-in-Residence with the Irish Writers’ Centre.

Shauna’s writing has been published in journals and magazines such as The Stinging Fly, Cobalt Review, Ulster Tatler Literary Miscellany, Olentangy Review, Galway Review, Writing.ie, Lakeview International Journal of Literature and Arts, Holdfast Magazine, New Welsh Review and Literary Orphans among others.
